She was predeceased by: her parents, Nipson Gouge and Dona McKinney Gouge; her husband James Hoyle; her son Gary Hoyle; her grandson Jeff Hoyle; her siblings, Joy Gouge, Edith Carver, Virginia Gouge, Jessie Byrd and Jack Gouge; and her nephew Richard Gouge.
She is survived by: her daughter Elaine Ollis (Donnie) of Spruce Pine; her daughter-in-law Teresa Gurley; her grandson Eric Mace (Jessica); her great grandchildren, Jacob Hoyle and Layla Mace; and her sisters, Georgia Bennett and Hazel McLaughlin of Maryland.
