It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris McKinney Snipes (Spruce Pine, North Carolina), who passed away on October 10, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde McKinney and Louise Hefner McKinney; and her husband David Snipes. She is survived by: her siblings, Rebecca Plemmons of Spruce Pine and Grover McKinney (Betty) of Marshall, NC; her nephew Anthony McKinney; her niece Andrea McKinney of Marshall, NC.; her close friend Peggy McKinney (Gus) of Spruce Pine; and her cousin Carlene Ward of Spruce Pine.
