She is survived by: her husband Steve Grindstaff; her children, Joshua Grindstaff (Megan) of Morganton, Ryan Grindstaff of Bakersville and Ashley Grindstaff of Bakersville; her grandson Corey Grindstaff of Morganton; and her brothers, Paul Hughes of Newland, Joe and Charlie Hughes of Spruce Pine.
