He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Teague and JoAnn Smith Teague; and his brother-in-law David C. McKinney. He is survived by: his wife Rebecca 'Becky McKinney Teague; his son Charlie Teague (Debra) of Auburn, AL; his grandchildren, Grayson and Bethany Teague of Auburn, AL; his sister Rita Teague of Leland, NC; his siblings-in-law, Daniel McKinney (Susie) of Spruce Pine, Mike McKinney (Vanessa) of Maggie Valley, Julia McKinney of Hickory and Louise McKinney of Spruce Pine; his nieces, Haley Gowdy of Boone, Kylie McKinney of Marion and Martha Williams of Marion; his great-nephew Eli 'Leroy Gowdy; and his great-niece Emily Gowdy of Boone. He is also survived by other nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
