She was predeceased by: her parents, McCoy Stamey and Elizabeth Carpenter Stamey; her husband Wayne Ward; her son Tim Ward; her great grandchild Austin Stockton; and her siblings, Lindsey, Charles, Lewis, Macarthur, Ruby, Lucille, Shirley, Anis and Dorothy.
She is survived by: her children, Allen Ward of Burnsville, Andy Ward of Spruce Pine and Mary Johnson of Spruce Pine; her grandchildren, Tyler, Casey Stockton, Ashley Vance, Brianna Dees, Justin, Savannah and Addison Ward; her great grandchildren, Haven Angel, Jaylee and Madison; and her sister Faye King of Kernersville, NC. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
