She was predeceased by: her husband Tommy Buchanan; her parents, James J. Gouge, Sr. and Georgia Nichols Gouge; her granddaughter Adrienne Dayton; and her brother Jim Gouge, Jr..
She is survived by: her daughters, Tressa Dayton (Danny) of Spruce Pine and Cherri Franklin (Randy) of Charlotte; her grandchildren, Michelle Sparks (Craig), Brandi Clark (Michael), Danielle Dayton and Randall Franklin (Trina); her great grandchildren, Charlee, Evee Sparks, Miles, Noah Clark and Adrianna Franklin; and her brother Rev. Steve Gouge (Wanda) of Taylorsville, KY. She is also survived by her daughters, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
