She was predeceased by: her parents, Fadine P. Arnold and Broddie D. Arnold; her husband Harold Vann Day; and her sister Faye Arnold Broyhill. She is survived by: her children, Amanda F. Day of Raleigh, Christopher Day of Spruce Pine and Vann Day (Carol Yates Day) of Carrboro. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
