He was predeceased by: his mother Sarah Turner; and his siblings, James, Joseph, Grover, Robert and Mary Turner-Peterson (Pete).
He is survived by: his stepchild Effee Burgess; his sisters, Juanita Mobley (Tarlon) of Columbus, GA, Diane Cooper of Charlotte, NC, Elizabeth Chamblee (Milton) of Hampton, VA and Deniece Turner-Johnson of Fairfax, VA; his sister-in-law Corine Turner; and his uncle James Turner. He is also survived by aunts, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be a small closed event due to COVID-19.
