He was predeceased by: his parent Shiela Coplan. He is survived by: his children, Nicole Alvarez (David), Dean Coplan (Christina) and Harley Coplan; his grandchildren, Kara Alvarez, Katee Alvarez and Jayden Coplan; and his siblings, Tina Coplan and Ralph Coplan (Emily).
