He was predeceased by: his parents, Redin Smith and Avonie Smith; and his brothers, Doyle and George Smith. He is survived by: his children, Noah Smith of Virginia, Nathan Smith of Virginia, Nicholas Smith of Virginia and Nya Smith of Virginia; his siblings, Wayne Smith (Corinna) of Spring Lake, NC., Daisy Lackey (Chris) of Virginia and Avonie Lynn Smith (Will) of Fairmont, NC; and his grandson Nash of Virginia. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
