He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Weatherly Burris of Fayetteville, NC; his children, James Andrew Burris (Tabitha) of Mooresville, NC and Megan Elizabeth Brenner (Thomas) of Fayetteville, NC; his grandchildren, Scarlett Brenner, Sloan Brenner, Savannah Brenner, Andie Burris, Aria Burris and Claire Burris; and his sister Brenda Denton (Jeffery) of Kansas City, MO. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
