He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Mason and Thelma Porter Mason; and his sisters, Geraldine Mason, Grace Holland and Helen Strickland.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Lynn Dean Mason; his children, Frank Mason, Jr. (Lynn Walker) and Heather of Vass; his stepdaughter Rhonda Whaley (Aaron) of Spring Lake; and his brother Ray Mason (Carolyn) of Spring Lake. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
