He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen Franklin Strader and Viola Edwards Strader; his sisters, Martha Haynes and Mary Hunnicutt; his grandson Tyler Strader; and his sister-in-law Patsy Strader.
He is survived by: his wife Ruby Dills Biggerstaff Strader; his children, Larry Wayne Strader (Sharon) of Virginia and Susan Ann Strader of Ringgold, Virginia; his grandchildren, Kennedy White and Addy Fessperman; his stepchildren, Wanda Ann Sanders (Sandy) of Caroleen, Anita Lynn Stofer (Sammy) of Shingle Hollow and Billy Gerald Biggerstaff (Melissa) of Cliffside; his stepgrandchildren, Brandi Holland (Josh), Brittney McMickle (Michael), Kelly Sanders and Ryan Sanders (Wendy); his stepgreat-grandchildren, Hunter Fagan, Kendall Fagan, Mason McMickle, Rayelynn McMickle, Morgan Sanders and Abby Coward; his siblings, Gaynelle Murray of Mooresboro, Oscar Strader (Patsy) of Ringgold, VA and Michael Strader (Anne) of Roanoke, VA; and his brother-in-law Marvin Hunnicutt of Ringgold, VA..
