He is survived by: his brother Andy; his wife Crystal Bradley Raines; his children, Charles Jesse Raines of Mill Spring, Joshua Poteat of Mill Spring, Starla Raines of Mill Spring, Kristen Carroll (Tyler) of Cliffside and Savanna Poteat of Spartanburg; his stepson Douglas "Ryan" Boothe of Monroe; his sister Tammy Walker of Columbia; and his grandchildren, Madison, Katie, Joshua, Wyatt, Joseph, Olivia, Maci, Glenn and Niko. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
