He was predeceased by: his former wife Oneida; his son Allen; his wife Sarah; and his brother Maurice. He is survived by: his son Jeff Mercer; his nephew David Mercer; his niece Debbie Clift; his grandchildren, Erica Solomon, Sarah Mercer, Michael Mercer, Brooke Mercer, Brandon Sims and Dustin Taylor; and his great grandchildren, Haylee, Raymond, Chaz, Jaymeson and Lane.
