She was predeceased by: her parents, Neal A. Patterson and Lula Belle Thomas Patterson; her husband Elwood Evander Blake; her daughter Nancy Blake Yearby; her grandson Todd Christopher Savage; and her siblings, Leonard, Robert, Richard, Glenn, Marjorie, Mary Belle and Lillian.
She is survived by: her son David Elwood Blake (Anne) of Raleigh; her granddaughters, Beth Yearby Meadlock of Hickory and Kristin Yearby Hockersmith (Mike) of Pinehurst; her great grandchild Cooper Blake Meadlock of Hickory; and her sister-in-law Eva Patterson of Jackson Springs.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Brownson Memorial Presbyterian Church (330 S May St, Southern Pines, NC 28387).
