He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Franklin Watson and Minnie Harrison Watson; his daughter Christina Watson; and his brother Ernest Watson. He is survived by: his wife Vickie Tyndall Watson; his sister Cora Lee Powell of Kinston; his siblings-in-law, Faye Tyndall Davis (Bobby) of Kinston and Roy M. Tyndall (Barbara) of Hookerton; and his nieces and nephews, Brian Tyndall, Elizabeth Tyndall and Lindsey Powell Acconmo.
