She was predeceased by: her parents, Amos Henry and Addie Sugg Joyner; her husband Lewis Little Thomas Sr.; her sons, Larry Joyner Thomas and Lewis Little Thomas Jr.; her siblings, Mildred J. Creech, Helen J. Askew, Rudolph Joyner, Dewey Joyner and A. H. Joyner; her son-in-law Don Goins Sr.; and her granddaughters, Gina L. Edwards and Sandra Coulter.
She is survived by: her daughters, Dorothy T. Harrison (Chester) of Snow Hill, Christy T. Letchworth (James) of Snow Hill and Martha Anne T. Goins of Thomasville; and her daughter-in-law Nancy Thomas of Smithfield. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren.
In an abundance of caution of Covid-19 the family request no visitation at their homes at this time.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.
