It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sammy Pruitt (Snow Hill, North Carolina), who passed away on December 30, 2020, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Betty Lou Jackson; his brother Anthony Jackson; and his father-in-law Donald Pate. He is survived by: his mother Gladys Shirley; his wife Angela Pate Pruitt; his daughter Candis Pruitt of Snow Hill; his stepdaughters, Brittany Gerena (Tony) of Columbia, SC and Ashlynn Doyle of New Bern; his grandchildren, Paul Garris of Snow Hill and Dameon Gerena of Columbia, SC; his brother Todd Tyson of Vanceboro; his mother-in-law Patricia J. Pate of Snow Hill; and his brother-in-law Don Pate of Clayton.
Due to COVID, masks and social distancing are requested at the service and the family would appreciate Facebook messages in lieu of in person visits so everyone may be as well and safe as possible.
