It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Carson Edwards (Snow Hill, North Carolina), who passed away on June 4, 2020, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Isaac Carson Edwards, Jr. and Celia Doreen Hood Edwards; his wife Peggy W. Edwards; his children, Celia Edwards Whitehurst (Jay) of Snow Hill and James Edwards (Meredith) of Kinston; his grandchildren, Brandy Boone (Doug) of Greenville, Amber Crandell (Will) of Farmville, Matthew Edwards (Danielle) of Clayton and Sydney Edwards of Kinston; his great grandchildren, Brayden Crandell and Emma Boone; his sister Valerie Edwards Goodson (Tim) of Snow Hill; and his brother-in-law Charlie Leroy Wood (Ida) of New Bern. He was also cherished by his wife, children and especially his grandchildren.
