She was predeceased by: her father George Carroll Whitfield; and her brother Alan Hardy Whitfield. She is survived by: her daughter Madison Grace Sabados Anders; her son-in-law Bryce Anders of Goldsboro; her mother Mattie "Matt" Sugg Baker (Jerry) of Fuquay Varina; her close friends, Jan Smith of Snow Hill, Bailey Smith of Snow Hill and Jeanette Jones of Snow Hill; and also Andy Sabados.
