He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Johnny MacArthur McKeel, Sr. and Linda Carol Shingleton McKeel; his wife April Bender McKeel; his children, Sydney Teagan McKeel, Madison Taylor McKeel, Justin Allen Woolard and Joshua Andrew McKeel (Allie) of Fairfield; his grandmother Kayron Shirley of Walstonburg; his sisters, Wendy McKeel Carter (Lloyd) of Snow Hill and Michelle McKeel Warters (Richard) of Snow Hill; his parents-in-law, Allen and Jean Bender of Pollocksville; his siblings-in-law, Mary Ann LeRay, Jeremy of Pollocksville and Scott of Holly Springs; his nephews, Joshua LeRay, Austin Mooring, Trey Carter and Tyler Carter; his niece Kate Ladner; and his brother-in-law Jim Mooring (Kathy) of Goldsboro.
