He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Simpson Blizzard and Ruth Mae Cole Blizzard; and his son Carl Richard Blizzard. He is survived by: his children, Linda Blizzard of Snow Hill, Steve Blizzard (Susan) of Snow Hill and Jimmy Benton "Tommy" Blizzard Jr. of Snow Hill; his daughter-in-law Betty M. Blizzard of Hookerton; his grandchildren, Jay Blizzard (Ashley), Sarah O'Briant (Bryant), Kim Reece (Justin), Amanda Harrell (Stanley), Jimmy Benton Blizzard III (Elizabeth) and Cale Blanchard; and his brother Chester Ray Blizzard (Ruby Lee) of Black Creek. He is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren.
