It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry Fields (Snow Hill, North Carolina), who passed away on September 1, 2020, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Henry Fields and Mary Frances Hill Fields; and his son Joe Head. He is survived by: his wife Joan Parris Fields; his children, Jennifer Fields Brinkley (Tony) of Winterville, John Henry Fields (Misty) of Hugo, Jerri Christina Fields Wade (Thomas) of Grifton, Jeremy Tyler Fields (Jessica) of New Bern, Donna Head Garner of Kinston and Christopher David Taylor (Jen) of Philadelphia, PA; his grandchildren, Bailey Garner, Bradley Lawrence Brinkley, Jared Harrison Fields, Brody Garner, Lauryn Kaylee Fields, Lillian Grace Wade, Levi Thomas Wade, Lincoln Avery Wade, Courtney Amber Powers and Alex Taylor; and his great grandchild Caroline Grace Groff. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
