Felipe Cantu Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Felipe Cantu of Snow Hill, North Carolina, born in Gonzales, Texas, who passed away on November 18, 2020, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Juan Rios Cantu and Petra Gonzales Cantu; his sisters, Gloria Cantu Hamm and Juanita Cantu; and his grandsons, Timothy Bryan Cantu and Tracy Crouch.
He is survived by: his wife Dixie Rae Mewborn Cantu; his children, Teri C. Lavin (John) of Goldsboro, Vickie Smith (Vince) of Wilmington, Juan Eric Cantu (Carol) of Kinston, Michael Cantu (Susan) of Snow Hill and Kim Cantu (Lorie Anne) of Greenville; his grandchildren, Michelle Cantu (Tee), Kris Cantu, Brandon Cantu, David Cantu (Amanda), Alicia Cannon, Michael Cannon, Shawn Cantu, Speight Caroon (Lindsey), Catherine Hill (Brett), Misti Cantu, Mandee Morgan (Dwayne), Jami Lavin (Brett) and Bryan Farmer (Dejah); his granddaughter-in-law Melanie Cantu; and his pet Albany. He is also survived by 26 great-grandchildren.
Due to COVID-19, the family requests that social distancing is practiced and face masks worn.
