She was predeceased by: her mother Lizzie Dudley Smith; her husband James Benjamin "J. B."; and her children, Brenda H. Davis, Billy Hart, Dennis Hart, Ruddie Hart and Glenn Hart.
She is survived by: her children, Gwanda Hart Matthews (John) of Farmville and James E. Hart (Dot) of Greenville. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
