He is survived by: the mother of his children Phyllis Brinson; his children-in-law, Kevin and Joylyn; his children, Lynn Martin (Kevin) of Snow Hill and Benny Gray (Joylyn) of Hiddenite; the mother of his children Phyllis Haught of Snow Hill; his sisters, Myrtle Webber of Snow Hill, Ruby Hart of Garner and Brenda Bell (Billy) of Snow Hill; his grandchildren, Benny Jr. Gray (Holly) of Goldsboro, Abagail Hicks of Taylorsville, Kevin Martin Jr. of Goldsboro and Amber Martin of Selma; his great grandchildren, Ava, Bentley, Kyndall and Dakota Gray; his siblings-in-law, Marie Gray and Clifton Brinson (Brenda) of Dunn; his close friend Connie Shingleton of Snow Hill; and his pets, Hotdog and Brownie. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
