He was predeceased by: his father Fred Lewis Speight, Sr.. He is survived by: his mother Jean Bunn Speight of Snow Hill; his wife Melba Foyles Speight; his sons, Harold Bradley of Snow Hill and Jody Speight (Christy) of LaGrange; his grandsons, Caleb Speight and Cole Speight; and his siblings, Jerry R. Speight (Kathy) of Greensboro, Jan Speight of Snow Hill and Raegan Bunn (Jerry) of Jesup, GA. He is also survived by four nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are encouraged to the First Baptist Church, PO Box 484, Snow Hill, NC 28580.
