She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Patrick and Alice Ginn Head; and her siblings, Beatrice H. Dawson, Gertrude H. Stocks, Robert Head, Doris H. Smith, W. Wadeus Head, Bailey Head and Billy Head.
She is survived by: her husband J. W. Lane; her children, Timmy Lane and Kim Lane Peardon; her granddaughter Kristen Peardon; her close friend Ravonda Jackson; and her sister Barbara H. Tyson. She is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
