He is survived by: his wife Frances Carter Fretz of Sneads Ferry, NC; his stepchildren, Mary Frances Simmerman of Cedar Point, NC and James F. Collins of Surf City, NC; his parents, Ewyn Fretz and Mabel Allshouse Fretz; his brother Lorraine Kastle; and also John F. Fretz.
