It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dawn Woody of Scotland Neck, North Carolina, who passed away on August 26, 2023, at the age of 55, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her daughter Sarah Brooks Woody; her father Bill Piver; her sister Catherine McCutcheon; and her grandparents, Roy, Minnie Bell Piver, Joe and Ella Whitehurst.
She is survived by: her children, Joshua Woody (Carmen) of Tarboro and Erica Hardison (CJ) of Williamston; her niece Emily McCutcheon of Tarboro; her mother Alma Mills of Tarboro; and her uncle Tom Piver. She is also survived by other Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and many lifelong friends.
