He was predeceased by: his wife Rebecca Sue Horton (Becky). He is survived by: his son Christopher Joseph Horton; his sisters, Denise Hayes and Terry Jo Carter (Bruce); his niece Kelly Hayes (Brandon); his nephews, Abraham Alexander Smith (Cristina) and Kyle Hayes; and his great-nephew Beau Hayes.
