She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Spires and Mary Yawn Spires; her husband Charles Rabon Rhodes; her sisters, Lourine Spires Hall and Elizabeth Spires Edwards; and her daughter-in-law Teresa Nelson Rhodes.
She is survived by: her children, Sheila Rhodes Stevens (Russell), Wanda Rhodes Taylor (Randy) and Gerald Bruce Rhodes (Suzanne Hakes Rhodes); her grandchildren, Elizabeth Stevens, Mary Katherine Bright (Walter Bright), Kristina Rhodes (Alaina James) and Garett Rhodes (Mona); her great grandchildren, Karsyn Rhodes, Grimm Rhodes and Godric Rhodes; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Chloe and Liam; her stepgrandchildren, Kyle Taylor, Candace and Vance Gust; her sisters, Bobbie Jean Walthall, Evelyn Booth (Leonard) and Yvonne Tilley (Bob); and also, Addison, Savannah and Connor.
