With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mabel VanStreader Nicely of Sanford, North Carolina, born in Napoleon, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 9, 2024 at the age of 99. In the sacred silence of farewell, Mabel VanStreader is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward VanStreader and Katherine Dietrich VanStreader; and her husband Bernard Nicely. She is survived by: her children, Dianna L Hallock, Judy C Draffin, Richard Nicely, Rodger L. Nicely, Michael S. Nicely and Terry W. Nicely. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
