He was predeceased by: his parents, Florence G. Reives and Vattie Reives; and his brothers, Edward, James and Charles Reives.
He is survived by: his wife Margie F. Reives; his sons, Michael A. Reives (Kirsti) and Demetrius F. Faulk (Omeka); his sisters, Bettie Lanier, Cathryn Cornelius and Addie Reives; his grandchildren, Mia Reives, Michael Reives (Mikey), Mariah Reives, Aria Parish and Robert Bovee; his great grandchild Rose Jones; his pet Leo; and also Andrea Forde. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
