He is survived by: his daughters, Erica and Melita; his siblings, James Mitchell (Dorothy Mitchell), Alfonzo Mitchell, Catherine M. King (Bronson King) and Gloria M. Barber; and his friend Earnest Carson. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins.
