It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sandra L. Eliassen (Salisbury, North Carolina), born in Suffolk, Virginia, who passed away on October 23, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert William Crank and Ruby Hall Crank; her husband John Eliassen, Sr.; her stepparents, Doris Crank and Pete Goddard; and her brothers, Roger Goddard and Jeff Crank.

She is survived by: her children, Jan Cooper (Mark), Carol Swing (Steve) and John Eliassen, Jr. (Lisa); her sisters, Terry Crank and Sylvia Keister (Tilford); her grandchildren, Denise Cooper, Jeremy Swing (Kerry Lynn), Matthew Swing (Haley), April Cooper, Mercedes Fleagle and Logan Eliassen; and her great grandchildren, Alexis Smith, Malachi Smith, Noam Fleagle, Harper Gordon, Ashley Swing and Brynlee Swing.
