She was predeceased by: her parents, Nellie Lynn Cooper and Robert Lester Cooper; her former husband Walter Max Ritchie, Sr.; and her sister Betty Holshouser. She is survived by: her husband Jerry Whitaker; her children, Walter Max Ritchie, Jr. (Shirley), Tammy Ritchie File (Doug), Robert A. Ritchie, Mike Whitaker (Phyllis) and Cathy Lynn Whitaker; her grandchildren, Sondra Sieradzki (Brian), Caroline Ritchie (Robert Pollock), Amber Ritchie (Mark Campbell), Christopher Harvell (Jessica), Hannah Kepley (Griffin), Heather Ward (Brian), Kathleen Whitaker (Clint) and Katelyn File Medina (Francisco); her great grandchildren, Lillian, Briar, Olan, Holt Kepley, Callie, Ella, Wyatt Harvell, Audrey, Anson Ward, Declan Ritchie-Pollock, Quinn Campbell, Dallas Fontenot, Carter, Greyson and Oakley Medina; her niece Denise Dalton; and her caregivers, Jennie Safrit, Brooke Elium, Joan Hardin, Cynthia Martin, Sara Jarvis and Martie Maynard.
