She was predeceased by: her husband Clyde "Mitchell" Cress; and her daughter Janis Elaine Cress. She is survived by: her children, Carmon Cress (Annette) and Malynda Cress; her grandchildren, Tonya Kepley (Billie), Angie Fink (Roger), Nick Duncan (Jorie), Jake Duncan and Chelsea Willard (Mike); and her great grandchildren, Kyrsten Kepley, Kassie Fink, DJ Duncan, Kadence Kepley, Korben Fink, Grady Duncan, Ainsley Duncan and Amelia Duncan.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made in memory of Peggy Cress to Cadence Mooresville Assisted Living, 198 E Waterlynn Rd Mooresville, NC 28117; or "paying it forward" to spread the love of God to those around you.
