It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Oma Eagle (Salisbury, North Carolina), who passed away on December 10, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her former husband Robert E. Waters; her husband Carpenter L. Eagle; and her sister Hilda Yates. She is survived by: her children, Robert N. Waters (Annette), James M. Waters (Lizette), Charles M. Waters (Laura), Missie Weaver (Brian), Lisa Eagle Shuping and Laura Leigh Eagle; and her sister Louise Rogers. She is also survived by her 11 grandchildren and her 5 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like memorials made to the Greensboro Youth for Christ, c/o Aaron Brewer, P.O. Box 516, Greensboro, NC 27402.
