It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mildred Louise Brooks (Salisbury, North Carolina), who passed away on February 28, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Lee Kesler and Katie Belle Cauble; and her husband Horace Brooks. She is survived by: her daughters, Sherry Deadmon (Randy) and Lynn Hunter (Roy) of Lexington; and her grandson John Ross Deadmon.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for memorials to be made to the Salem Lutheran Church.
