She was predeceased by: her father Feldman Yates; her husband Billy Ray Burleson; and her siblings, Leonard Yates, Oscar Reed Yates, Harold Yates, Junior Yates and Odessa Peeler.
She is survived by: her children, Johnny Eugene Helms (Rita) of Welcome and Carolyn Livengood (Benny) of Salisbury; and her grandchildren, Randall James Livengood (Kim) of Woodleaf, Amanda Hedrick (Derek) of Wallburg and Summer Garrison (Dustin) of Silver Valley. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
