It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Judy Diane Rogers (Salisbury, North Carolina), who passed away on February 6, 2024, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruby Morgan Hunsucker and William C. Hunsucker; and her brothers, Tommie and Dennis Hunsucker. She is survived by: her husband Jimmy "J. R." Rogers; her daughter Sandy Rogers (Gregory Lyerly) of Rockwell; her grandchildren, John W. Daugherty III and Kelsey S. Hamilton; her great grandchildren, Thomas, Nolan and Ava Daugherty; and her brother Jerry Hunsucker of Rockwell.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for memorials to be made to the Rowan County Animal Shelter, 160 Adoption Way, Salisbury, NC 28146.
