We are sad to announce that on November 30, 2023, at the age of 81, John Charles Spidell of Salisbury, North Carolina, born in Lawrence, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Spidell and Julia Harnisch Spidell; and his brother James Robert "Jimmy" Spidell. He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his daughters, Sondra Merrifield of Rockwell and Robin Bodan of Salisbury; and his grandchildren, Megan S. Beaver (Jonathan), Lauren Merrifield, Rachel Selbe, Jared Spidell, Jacob Bodan and Carley Bodan. He is also survived by three great-grandsons and three great- granddaughters.
