She was predeceased by: her parents, W. L. Cook and Minnie Wallace Cook; her husband Charlie Harrison Smith; and her siblings, Lawrence Cook, Leon Cook, Wendell Cook and Ruby C. Joyner.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kay S. Harrell (David) of Ringgold, GA, JoAnn Hall (Jim) of Silver City, NM and Connie S. Christy (Ric) of Cleveland, NC; her grandchildren, Chad H. Christy (Kristin), Michael D. Harrell, Amanda G. Hall, Garrett R. Christy (Christina) and Natalie A. Hall; her great grandchildren, Bluesy C. Harrell and Weylyn V. Christy; and her sister-in-law Betty S. Davidson.
