She was predeceased by: her parents, Don Bare and Mary Blevins Bare; her husband Walter Lee Castor; and her brother Odell Bare. She is survived by: her children, Brenda Maxwell (Terry) of China Grove, Judy Deal (William) of Lexington and Jerry Castor; her sisters, Jeri Beck of Salisbury and Edith Clement of Sparta; her sister-in-law Shirley Bare of Salisbury; her grandchildren, Brian Maxwell (Jessica), Dale Castor (Mandy) and Jerry Castor, Jr. (Blaire); her close friend Carol James; and her caregivers, Lisa Shue, McKenzie Plummer and Sharon Heiney. She is also survived by many close friends, cousins, nieces and nephews.
