He is survived by: his mother Mildred Maxwell Wilson; his children, Harlene Maxwell of Kansas City, MO, Devon, Janisse Cupid, Candice Cupid of Kansas City, MO, Renard Maxwell and George Maxwell of Charlotte, NC; his sisters, Naomi Houston of Salisbury, NC, Rosa Greene (Mike) of Salisbury, NC and Patricia Maxwell of Salisbury, NC; and his nephew Richard Maxwell. He is also survived by eighteen grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren.
