It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fred Lewis Mowery Jr. (Salisbury, North Carolina), who passed away on September 16, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Mowery and Marian Swicegood Mowery. He is survived by: his son Lewis Mowery (Gretchen); his grandchildren, Mark, Trevor, Dean, Ross, Ashley (Clint Breitweiser) and Emily (Matt Tucker); his great grandchildren, Brielle, Paisleigh, Kaison, Cheyenne, Bennett and Lauren; his sister Margaret Mowery Kirby; his nephew Jeff (Lezlee); and his caregiver Melody Gale.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to his church at 3810 US Hwy. 601 for the children and youth.
