She was predeceased by: her parents, Manlius Lee and Ruth Castor Overcash; and her siblings, Clarence Overcash, Howard Overcash, Gladys Wensil, Nell Overcash, Wilma Sells, Marguerite Shive and Zelia Padgett.
She is survived by: her husband Lane Clark Brown; her sons, Monty Ryan Brown (Terri) of Salisbury and Mark Lane Brown (Tina) of Rockwell; and her grandchildren, Nathan (Carrie), Allison (Tim), Jenna (Dylan) and Carol (Tim). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
