He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Batts and Clara Davis Batts; and his wife English M. Batts (Marie). He is survived by: his niece Carolyne Evette Hairston of Charlotte; and his sisters, Dorothy Batts, Ruth B. Brown, Mildred B. Lewis-Freddie of Wilmington, NC and Host. He is also survived by Nieces; Nephews.
